Legacy Endowment
Giving a legacy endowment to our nonprofit benefits our organization in several ways. Firstly, it allows us to continue our important work of supporting black women and girls exposed to daily violence and those in single-parent/guardian/caregiver homes with young children 0-8 years of age. Additionally, it enables us to provide support and resources to black women working in expert spaces on violence prevention and community violence intervention.
By receiving a legacy endowment, we can further our mission of collaborating with higher education institutions, non-profit organizations, and government agencies to advance violence prevention and mitigate harm. This includes conducting community-led research, implementing education programs, and providing training initiatives.
Ultimately, the legacy endowment will help us establish a Research, Education, and Training (RET) Center, which will serve as a central hub for our partnerships with underserved communities. This center will enable us to better empower and uplift communities, creating a safer and more empowered future for all women in need.
In summary, giving a legacy endowment to our nonprofit allows us to continue and expand our vital work in supporting black women and girls, advancing violence prevention, and establishing a central hub for community-led research, education, and training initiatives.
